Dr. Kosala Heengama is a visionary technology strategist, investor, and accomplished executive with a career that spans two decades across the fields of digital transformation, financial investments, and strategic advisory. As a Board Member and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Dexwet Holdings Corporation, Kosala plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global technology roadmap, driving innovation, and fostering market expansion—particularly its entry into North America.

As a strategic investor and digital transformation leader, Kosala brings a breadth of experience from global IT service sectors and public company leadership. He joined Dexwet’s Board of Directors in 2017, where he helps steer corporate governance and global growth initiatives while serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Under his leadership, Dexwet has streamlined internal capabilities and enhanced its global brand through sophisticated IT infrastructure development and risk management strategies.

Kosala’s expertise lies at the intersection of technology innovation, investment strategy, and public-private collaboration. Before his current role, Kosala served on the boards of several public-listed companies in Sri Lanka, including Environmental Resources Investment PLC, Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, and Ceylon Leather Products PLC, contributing to successful restructurings, strategic direction shifts, and brand revivals across Asia and Europe. His tenure as Chief ICT Advisor and CIO to the Ministry of Finance of Sri Lanka (2005–2007) underscores his ability to intersect policy with transformative digital frameworks.

Kosala is also the Co-Founder of Yenom Ltd, a financial advisory firm recognized for addressing operational barriers and guiding businesses through ethical growth and capital challenges.

Kosala holds a Doctorate in the US and a Master’s in Computing and Mathematics from the UK.
